Every new case will be submitted through the SmileFast portal and assessed by a clinical mentor before a clinical dental technician (CDT) will provide a video overview for a restoration-led treatment plan. This incredible diagnostic and clinical aid can be shown to patients to help them understand and better consent their planned dental implant treatment.
The smilefast workflow
The SmileFast lab team have simplified implant ordering by streamlining the whole process. By using the SmileFast portal and creating a bespoke patient-specific treatment plan, we can ship the implant components, temporary restorations, and all ancillary equipment you may require such as drape kits, in one package, with the whole order being 20% VAT exempt.
The SmileFast workflow removes the challenges often associated with treatment planning and gives one-to-one support with every case and for every patient, throughout the treatment journey.
Step 1 – design
Simply submit an intraoral scan (or impression) and CBCT scan on the SmileFast Implant portal with some information about what the patient has requested.
A CDT and clinical mentor will work together to create a restoration-led treatment plan and will provide a video explaining the treatment to talk through with the patient.
Step 2 – place
If the patient is happy to move ahead with the planned treatment, then the SmileFast lab will provide a robust iConsentU treatment plan for easy patient consent and enhanced communication.
Once signed, dentists will receive a single delivery containing all of the implant components, abutments and temporary restorations – so no need to order from different sources.
Step 3 – restore
Once the patient is ready, dentists can send a final intraoral scan (or impression) and the team will send out the final restoration for fitting. Its as simple as 1,2,3.
